Join Us at the Kansas Commodity Classic!

Growers can prepare for 2019 by attending the Kansas Commodity Classic, which offers updates on farm policy, the farm bill, markets, weather and more. The Classic will begin at 9 a.m. on Jan. 24 at the K-State Alumni Center in Manhattan. The Classic is the annual convention of the Kansas corn, wheat, grain sorghum and soybean associations.

The event will feature D.C. updates from Senators Pat Roberts and Jerry Moran and Congressman Roger Marshall; a 2018 Farm Bill Panel with State FSA Director David Schemm and K-State’s Robin Reid, and a weather outlook from Ross Janssen, KWCH Chief Meteorologist. Matt Roberts, Kernmantle Group will speak on marketing through tough economic times at the Classic Luncheon.

Attendance for this event continues to grow each year, and we are excited to bring this great slate of speakers to our new location at the K-State Alumni Center. Our goal is to offer top speakers to provide our producers with information and perspectives they can use in 2019.

The Kansas Commodity Classic is offered free to growers thanks to the Classic sponsors. Preregistration is requested to ensure an accurate meal count for lunch.
